That is how our Papillon table with Emperador Light marble tabletop found its way to ‘t Groen Kwartier in Antwerp. Here the former military hospital was transformed into a beautiful residential area where also Michelin star restaurant The Jane (Sergio Hermans) finds her home.
Our Papillon table feels completely at home in this contemporary concept designed within a classic setting. The timeless design of the distinctive Papillon tabletop effortlessly knits both styles together as a new centerpiece in the room.
The Emperador Light marble contrasts beautifully in a dark room or blends seamlessly into a light interior.

Elevating outdoor living experience to new heights
For this project we delivered two Marcello design tables and one cocktail table, all in stainless steel and Blue Limestone Du Hainaut, a Belgian natural stone in Blue Flamed Finish.
We met with this customer in Paris at the “Maison & Objet” exhibition, where they were looking for an exclusive table assortment for their new terrace. The owner, an orthopedic surgeon, instantly admired the many visible crinoids (skeletons of old marine animals) in the sample of the Blue Limestone Du Hainaut. After the exhibition, the customer selected the slabs with the most visible crinoids via videocall and confirmed the first order.
One of the key advantages of this natural stone is its compactness and durability, making it ideal for outdoor usage. The Blue Flamed Finish hides possible stains and scratches and is resistant to the weather elements, such as sunlight, rain and temperature variations, allowing it to withstand the test of time.
These marble tables now seamlessly merge with the beauty of the surroundings and the seasight. Whether you invision a cozy breakfast, an afternoon lunch or an elegant evening gathering, these marble tables enhance your outdoor dining experience.

240 cm diameter, 4 pieces of marble and a ‘Lazy Suzy’ on top, those are the elements that define this customized Papillon Table.
We met with this customer in Paris during the “Maison et Objet” exhibition, to discuss their need for a large round table with marble tabletop. Our Round Papillon Design Table can fit tabletops with a diameter of 120 cm to +- 160 cm, depending on the maximum height of the selected tabletop material.
Fortunately for this project, we could easily modify the frame and subframe of our Oval Papillon Design Table and use two Carrara Marble slabs instead of one. The result is magnificent but the customer didn’t leave it at that, they also required a “Lazy Suzy” in the center of the table, strong enough to carry heavy cooking pots.
Since we were still virgins in the world of ‘Lazy Suzies’, we engineered our own version in massive ebony wood with a slightly brushed finish and sharknose edge, identical as the edge of the marble.
Upon delivery, our customer thoroughly tested the functionality and called the Lazy Suzy “the chocolate on her new cake”.
That makes this London Dining Room ready to Share a Lifetime.

We were delighted when interior architect – Sophie De Bel – reached out to us to develop a tailored Marcello Table for this project in our hometown, Wortegem-Petegem.
Fortunately we developed the Marcello table to be easily modifiable in plenty of rectangular and square sizes. This 3000 x 1100 mm offers seating for 10 users.
Sophie De Bel, guides her customers to the interior they have been dreaming of by combining the right materials and placing the eye-catchers at the right location.
The combination of oak and warm white tones, create a cozy, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The modern kitchen with a Calacatta Quartz surface, required a table with an oak tabletop, white legs and white chairs.
The arch in the ceiling of the entrance, creates slight rounding that can also be found in the Marcello Table’s edge trim, making our design table the best choice for this project.
In the past, we also tailored a square Marcello Table of 1800 x 1800 mm with natural stone for a Parisian architect, that’s currently residing in Ibiza with our table placed under a 1000 year old olive tree. Click here for more information.

When the first rays of sunshine have showed themselves in Spring, the new Miotti table has made its way to this residential home in the City of Oudenaarde, East-Flanders Belgium.
Who doesn’t like to wine and dine outside when the weather is suitable?
The Miotti design table offers maximum functionality. Thanks to its aesthetical light design with ‘extra slim’ legs, the best room for users and chairs is guaranteed with no hindrance.
The Miotti table is easily customizable in all sizes up to 320 x 150 x 75 cm, available in 45 colors and is completely developed from sheet metal from scratch.
The dimensions of the table in the picture are 240 x 100 x 75 cm and the chosen sintered stone tabletop is called “Layla”, in Slate Finish.

The Slate Finish is a new finish that resembles the surface of cleaved Portuguese limestone and feels characterful and authentic.

A brave choice, selecting the Italian marble Orobico Grigio in polished finish for their HAVANI Papillon table and kitchen worktop.
Combined with the warm tones of oak and a flooring in Spanish marble Emperador Light in honed finish, our client deserves nothing less than the utmost respect and a standing ovation for this achievement.
In general, for horizontal applications, we don’t promote dark coloured marbles, nor polished finishes because of practical reasons. However, this client always puts the aesthetical aspect first and honestly, who can blame them with this result?

Eiffel Tower View Flat in Paris

Our Papillon Design table with Spanish marble, has found its way to the sixth district in Paris.
Natural materials were used extensively in this beautiful flat overlooking the Eiffel Tower. There is a mixture present of classic and modern styles, combined with round and straight lines, which perfectly match the asymmetrical steel frame and oval tabletop of our Papillon Design Table.
A slab of Beige Serpiente marble from Spain was selected by the client at our on-site location, whose surface we hand-crafted in our “Poco Vecchio” finish. This tactile and slightly textured finish offers both character and appearance, and on top of that, is easy to maintain.
For the kitchen side table, the client selected our Italian marble Calacatta Oro in honed finish.
We wish our client many memorable moments in Paris at their Havani tables!
